List of My Ideas and Proposed Topics for Final Year Project

Following is the list of ideas and proposed topics for final year students for their FYP projects. These topics are general ideas and can be further enhanced or modified according to students’ expertise and interest.

Most of these ideas are research-based, which means students will conduct guided research and be assisted in writing a Research Paper/Article. The finalized paper will then serve as the foundation of their thesis chapters.

Note: This list is not final. More topics will be added from time to time, so please check back regularly for updates.


Topics for Final Year Project

Animation

Note: Animation projects will use Autodesk Maya software. Basic training in Maya will be provided to all students willing to work on animation projects.

Final Year Project – Rules and Regulations

All final-year undergraduate students must complete an FYP as a mandatory requirement for the Bachelor’s degree in BS (IT, Software Engineering, Electronics & Telecom), under the Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT), University of Sindh, Jamshoro.

Rules for Students

  • Each student may work individually or in a group.

  • A maximum of four (04) students are allowed per group.

  • Topics should align with students’ interests and areas of expertise.

  • Each group must register its topic by submitting the Final Year Project Proposal Form (approved by the supervisor) by March 1st, Semester 07.

  • Maintain a logbook to record progress and supervisor meetings.

  • Meet the supervisor at least once monthly.

  • Submit the Thesis at the end of Semester 08.

  • Prepare for project presentation and viva with a working project demonstration.

  • Conduct experimental work during semester breaks to manage workload efficiently.

  • Ensure grammatical accuracy and proper formatting before submission.

  • Supervisors are responsible for verifying final drafts before binding.

  • Plagiarism or purchased projects are strictly prohibited.

  • Reuse of previous projects is not allowed unless properly credited and substantially improved.

  • Topic switching between supervisors requires prior written consent.
